Under the annual theme HEIMSUCHUNGEN / HAUNTINGS, artistic positions come together to engage with absence, memory, and transformation. How do traces of history appear in spaces, bodies, and narratives? And how can these traces be carried into new contexts and relations? Over time, the exhibition, artistic research, and artistic program (to the Program →) give rise to a shared narrative: The Bärenzwinger evolves as a place that remembers, transforms itself, and is constantly reexamined.
